Hello everyone, and happy Crazy Hair Day!
We have a mixed bag today. We will be hearing speeches from potential Greenhand Officers (who you will be electing) as well as reciting the FFA Creed. For your opener you need to type out the first paragraph of the Creed two times and then say it to the person next to you. We will be testing on this at the end of the period.
Thursday Good day to everyone. I hope this new day finds you well. I have a different project lined up for you today. Hopefully you will enjoy it as well as use it as a learning tool for Plate Tectonics. This is worth 100 points. Do it well and on time.
Todays Project: Pretend you will be giving a presentation to a 3rd grade class. You are presenting The Theory of Plate Tectonics in a keynote. Your challenge is to convert this elevated material into a language they can understand as well as enjoy. Your task will be to outline what we have covered in sections 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 in a quick, easy, picture filled, and fun Keynote presentation.
I have added all three presentations for you to use and be sure to use your notes as well. These are also at the top of the Wiki.
Please use the black presentation I have provided for you as a guide to complete this project. Remember, young kids don't like lots of words, but they love pictures, demos, and activities. It is your chance to shine as a teacher. Just follow the red lettering as directions, and the black lettering will be your topics to cover. Good luck and have a great day.
